Philip Monroe Hostetler graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon School of Nursing in 1967, only the second man to complete the undergraduate program. He went on to work for the Providence Health System for 40 years as well as serve as an Assistant Professor at the University of Portland.
