Biography

Dr. Noble Wiley Jones was a practicing physician of internal medicine (perhaps the first specialist) in Portland, Oregon, beginning around 1906. He entered the University of Wisconsin at a very young age, was a graduate of Stanford University CII and Rush Medical School, and also did post graduate studies in Vienna, Berlin and London. Dr. Jones was a founder of the Portland Clinic and taught internal medicine at OHSU.
