Abstract
Dr. E. Murray Burns graduated from the University of Oregon Medical School (now Oregon Health & Science University) in 1931. He went on to complete residencies in neuropsychiatry at Wisconsin General Hospital and in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 1941, he joined the 46th General Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Abstract
Horace M. Miller was born in Portland in 1892, the son of Herbert C. Miller, who was the founder and first President of North Pacific College of Oregon. Dr. Miller graduated Reed College 1917, North Pacific College of Oregon, served in WWI, taught Oral Surgery at University of Oregon School of Dentistry and served as secretary of faculty between the two world wars.
