Abstract
Dr. E. Murray Burns graduated from the University of Oregon Medical School (now Oregon Health & Science University) in 1931. He went on to complete residencies in neuropsychiatry at Wisconsin General Hospital and in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 1941, he joined the 46th General Hospital in Portland, Oregon. The collection consists of twenty glass lantern slides of the University of Oregon Medical School faculty members and their families. The slides were used for a presentation in 1950 and donated by the University of Oregon Medical School Department of Bacteriology Head, Harry J. Sears, Ph.D., from 1918 until 1956.
