Scope and Contents
The collection consists of photographs of Army nurses, members of the medical service unit of the University of Oregon Medical School, under the supervision of Colonel J. G. Strohm. The collection is dated December 25, 1942. See photograph index for more information. A brief history of the 46th General Hospital prepared by the Dean’s office in 1942 is included with the finding aid. A report by Acting Commanding Officer, Lt. Col., M.C., Frank R. Mount, written on 6 February 1944 has also been included.
