Staff, 1985
Scope and Contents
This collection shows a variety of activities of the Woodland Park Hospital Auxiliary through the medium of photographic images in the form of bound albums and scrapbooks, unbound prints, and color slides.
“Series I: Albums” dates from 1968 to 1995 and shows the multifaceted work of the WPHA. They include not only the official charitable fundraising events for supplies, equipment, and scholarships, but also commemorations of important personal occasions of the Auxiliary members themselves, such as birthdays and retirements.
“Series II: Prints” covers the period 1968-1995 and, thus, includes some files predating the creation of the Auxiliary itself. They include images of medical staff and volunteers, visits by local and state officials, and a multitude of event pictures.
“Series III: Slides” dates from 1979 to 1985. The slides show staff and patients interacting, as well as the hospital itself and related activities.
