 Item — Box: 1, Folder: 5

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The collection consists of photographic prints, news clippings, event programs, correspondence, certificates, tickets, and other material that illustrate the life and work of prosthodontist Fred E. Gulick, D.M.D., F.A.C.D. The collection spans 1889-1957 and highlights different aspects of Gulick's life, including his childhood, dental education, military service, and professional involvement. Because no original order was apparent, the materials are arranged into folders based on related subjects. Subject matter includes photographs of Gulick with family and friends; high school education; dental education at North Pacific College of Dentistry; appointment as Captain of the U.S. Army Ordinance Department; conventions of the Oregon State Dental Association, Southern Oregon Dental Association, and Oregon Dental Society; and the Oregon State Board of Health 20th Anniversary banquet.
