Pharmacy Dept. Tomato Contest flyers, 2015
Scope and Contents
The Pharmacy Department Collection contains on box of textural materials pertaining to medication management, the pharmaceutical departments of OHSU, news articles and the Comparable Worth Study. This includes "Doing Comparable Worth: Gender, Class and Pay Equity"(1989), a book by Joan Acker detailing a study by the state of Oregon on comparable pay between men and women in various workplaces. A folder containing documents related to the study is included. The box contains a scrapbook filled with newpaper clippings on medicine mostly taken from the Oregonian between 1979 - 1982, and a communication book used by the staff at the North Pharmacy at OHSU. Three folders hold newsletters from the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy (1987-1990), correspondence and newsletters from the Pharmacy Services Department at OHSU (PostScripts), and a Newsletter of Chinese Pharmacists (1976). Documents on Labor/Management Cooperation (AFSCME), medication management from OHSU, a Hematopoietic Cell Transplant Pocket Guide for Physicians, award certificates and correspondence for Laurie Litowinsky, and flyers for the pharmaceutical tomato contest of 2015 are also included in the collection.
