This collection contains photographs taken in the United States and Europe during Mann’s service in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, which provide insight into the life and training of a nurse at that time. The collection also contains a selection of Mann’s Army records, including a detailed inventory of clothing and equipment issued to her, as well as documentation of her service, illness, and eventual retirement.
