Scope and Contents
This collection contains photographs taken in the United States and Europe during Mann’s service in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, which provide insight into the life and training of a nurse at that time. The collection also contains a selection of Mann’s Army records, including a detailed inventory of clothing and equipment issued to her, as well as documentation of her service, illness, and eventual retirement. Drafts of Mann’s undergraduate paper: "Cambarincola Gracilis Sp. Nov., A Branchiobellid Oligochaete Commensal on Western Crayfishes", are included along with her notes and figure drawings.
