Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The OHSU Oral History Program records date from 1997 to 2019 and consists of interview transcripts with accompanying documents and optical recordings when available, audio and video cassettes, notes, documentation, and correspondence pertaining to the program. Besides chronicling the stories of various health care professionals from an almost 100 year period, this collection gives insight into the inception, implementation, and conduct of an oral history program, which would prove valuable to future historians and archivists looking to create such a program of their own. Most transcripts are available online in OHSU's Digital Collections.
