Program history, 1949 - 2003

The “Dental Hygiene Department” series, which dates from 1949 to 2003, includes administrative records, accreditation proposals, faculty information, goals and objectives reports, and curriculum samplings from the department that concern the academic and institutional histories of the program at various points of its existence. A file of particular interest is the papers and correspondence of Rachel Espey, who was a faculty member (and later, department chair) from 1954 to 1976. This series is arranged in chronological order.
