The Department of Public Health and Preventative Medicine (PHPM) records houses the departmental records of PHPM. This collection, which dates from 1987 to 2011, consists of budgets, correspondence, administrative office records, teaching and class records, research, finances of the department, surveys, annual reports, awards, meetings, and retreats, demonstrating the operations and planning of a public health medical school department. These records display a major portion of the communication, planning, and executing of teaching and organization within the PHPM department and information about faculty, staff, and students. Included is research completed during the time that showcases the impact the PHPM department had on public health research. This collection also contains administration and communication records for Katie Riley, Ed.D. covering her time as an administrator and, later, as the Director of Education for the department.
