Biographical History
Anne Rosenfeld, Ph.D.,R.N., C.N.S., F.A.H.A., was associate professor and co-director, Oregon Health & Science University Center for Research on Symptom Management in Life-Threatening Illness; with the OHSU School of Nursing, she was associate dean for research, innovation and translation at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Nursing. She conducted extensive research in the areas of pain management and end of life care, heart disease (especially among women) treatment and prevention, and improving care quality for patients. In 2002, she was awarded the Oregon Nurses Association's Nurse Researcher Award. She is an inter-professional leader, a cardiovascular clinical nurse specialist and an avid mentor for students and colleagues. Dr. Rosenfeld is a fellow of the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Nursing. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the College of Mount Saint Joseph, her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Arizona, her doctorate in nursing from the Oregon Health and Sciences University and completed postdoctoral studies through the American Heart Association. Dr. Anne Rosenfeld recently returned to the University of Arizona College of Nursing as Associate Dean of Research.
