Oregon Dental Association records
The Oregon Dental Association (ODA) is a voluntary membership organization for Oregon-based dentists founded in 1893. This collection consists of governing documents, meeting minutes, membership materials, correspondence, and published materials evidencing the operation and projects of the ODA.
School of Dentistry Archive collection
The Tacoma College of Dental Surgery moved to Portland in 1899 and, through many years of growth and changed, eventually became today's OHSU School of Dentistry. The collection consists of records, minutes, correspondence, administrative documents, pictures, publications, curriculum and school materials and other materials related to teaching and work done in the OHSU School of Dentistry.
UOMS/OHSU Library records
The OHSU library was founded in 1893 as part of the University of Oregon Medical Department. In 1919, the library’s 4,000 books moved up the hill to what is now Mackenzie Hall. In 1939, the library moved into a new building next door and then relocated again in 1991 with the opening of the Biomedical Information Communication Center (BICC). This collection spans the library’s history, with materials produced largely by library employees and committee members.
