Abstract

The Erickson Family collection houses the personal papers of three generations of health science professionals (two doctors and a dentist), Charles A. Erickson, Russell Erickson, Jr., and Russell Erickson, III. This collection which dates from 1906 to 1994, consists of student notebooks, doctor’s notes, journals, photographs, drawings and sketches, school ephemera, news clippings, a painting, and various medical artifacts contained within a doctor’s bag.

Abstract

Dr. Thomas J. Fox, originally from Marshfield, Oregon, attended the University of Oregon Medical School from 1904 to 1908 and graduated with an M.D. in 1909. His papers represents materials used and notes taken while in medical school.

Abstract J. P. Kilbourn, Ph.D. (1936-2011) was a dedicated educator and clinical microbiologist, owner and director of Consulting Clinical and Microbiological Laboratory, a fellow in the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and recipient of the “Woman of Achievement” award from the state of Oregon.
