Abstract Dr. Hiroshi Ueno (1929–1995) was a distinguished Japanese dentist and educator who graduated at the top of his class from Nihon University in 1960, and in 1964 joined the Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) School of Dentistry, where he taught for 31 years and was the Vice Chairman of the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics.
