Abstract

Jack Clinton spent nearly 60 years at OHSU School of Dentistry. In 1964 he began serving as an instructor, and from 2004 to 2012, served as the of Dean of the School of Dentistry. The collection represents the years from 1961 to 2004 and includes policies and manuals, pamphlets, memoranda, faculty rosters and phone lists, certificates, licenses, awards, and educational resources. A significant topic in the collection is the standardization of dental practice and of dental education.

Abstract The University of Oregon Dental School’s Dental Hygiene Program operated from 1949 to 2003, during which time it evolved from a two-year certificate program to an accredited Bachelor of Science degree program. Abstract The Educational Communications department at OHSU (known as EdCOMM), provides production services such as photography, audio/video, graphic design, and multimedia support for classrooms. The collection contains strictly photographic materials from the mid 1980's through the late 1990's. The collection consists of 170 folders of photographs, contact sheets and negatives.
