Richard T. Jones papers
Richard T. Jones, current Emeritus Faculty at Oregon Health & Science University in the Research Support Office, received his M.D. from University of Oregon Medical School in 1956 and went on to earn a PhD from California Institute of Technology. Jones served as chairman of the School of Medicine and acting President in 1977 and 1978. This collection contains materials which pertain to the dedication of the Medical School Library and Auditorium and the rededication ceremony in 1984.
Sinhalese Ola collection
The collection consists of three Sinhalese olas or book manuscripts and accompanying description cards.
John E. Weeks papers
John Elmer Weeks (1853-1949) was an eye surgeon, author, and an extensive traveler and lecturer. He helped found the Board of Ophthalmology, discovered the Koch-Weeks bacillus, and was widely acclaimed for his method of reconstructing the orbital socket and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. This collection consists primarily of materials used in the composition of his autobiography, including manuscript drafts, correspondence, and some photographs.
