Abstract

Dr. Kassebaum was a trained cardiologist whose thirty-year career (1956-1986) went from Intern to Director of OHSU Hospital and Vice President of Hospital Affairs. A wide variety of material illustrates his varied career.

Abstract Daniel H. Labby, a private practice physician from Portland, OR, assembled the scrapbook in 1939 during his graduating year at the University of Oregon Medical School. The scrapbook contains images of the campus, faculty and his fellow students. Videocassettes (2) from the Class of 1939 50th Reunion and a memorial photogasph album (assembled by Labby) are included in the collection. The collection consists of the personal and professional papers of Donald G. Kassebaum, M.D. and includes reprints, correspondence, publications, reports, photographs, certificates, diplomas, licenses, curriculum vitae, biographical materials, and reports regarding his tenure at the University of Oregon Health and Sciences University and at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center.
