Donated by James H. Shelton; his grandfather, Herbert H. Schmitt (1882-1952), is pictured in the center of the top row. Schmitt once served as the president of the Oregon Board of Dental Examiners. Schitt and wife, Anna, had the collage until Anna's death in 1971; it passed to the donor, Shelton, in 2001.
