Scope and Contents
The collection consists of materials created, used, or kept by faculty and staff at the North Pacific College of Oregon (formerly the North Pacific Dental College) in Portland, Oregon, spanning the years 1898-1966. Items include a bound ledger tracking student war loans, notebooks on dental procedures and faculty and staff meetings, plaques, images of the dental school and its faculty and staff, articles and papers on dental education and the dental profession, correspondence, dental equipment manuals and brochures, an event brochure, meeting materials, articles of incorporation and deed of trust for the school, and dental instrument artifacts. Several of the papers were written by dental school Dean Louis J. Fitzpatrick.
