Scope and Contents

This collection includes three types of material: budget material from 1932-1933, payroll records from 1938-1939 and 1941-1942, fee records from 1941-1942. The budget records budget information for medical instruction, the Outpatient Clinic, Doernbecher Memorial Hospital for Children, and nursing education. The payroll records consist of payroll, statements, time sheets, correspondence of Business Manager Ralf Couch, fees and notes. Included are time sheets and other payroll records for students hired under the National Youth Administration. The fee records contain correspondence and receipts relating to fees paid by medical and nursing students for the 1941-1942 academic year.

Acquisition Information

Received from Carol Reinmiller in the President’s Office. Created by the Business Office under the direction of Ralf Couch, business Manager for the UOMS and administrator of the Outpatient Clinic.

General Physical Description

Materials are in conditions ranging from Good to Very Good which includes signs of acid migration on the edges and some torn and fragile documents. In general, caution and care should be exercised when handling documents.
