Birth Home, Inc. records
Birth Home, Inc. was the fourth birthing center to open in Oregon. Operating from 1982 to 1986, the non-profit birthing center was staffed by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, and family practice physicians and provided an alternative to hospital births for low-risk women. These records document the daily and administrative operations of the Birth Home as well as their involvement in the community and published materials collected by the organization.
Hannibal Blair collection
Hannibal Blair, M.D., matriculated at the Willamette University Medical Department in 1881 and graduated with a degree in medicine in 1883. This collection consists of materials acquired by Blair during his time at Willamette, including class schedules, attendance cards, matriculation tickets, event invitations, and correspondence.
Donald L. Blanchard papers
These papers consist of materials written and collected by Dr. Donald Blanchard who studied at OHSU and worked in the ophthalmology department. Within this collection are many writings by Blanchard, including writings about Georg Bartisch and his work, a translation of Bartisch’s text Ophthalmodouleia, work on ophthalmology, and papers for the Cogan Ophthalmic History Society's annual meetings.

Matthew Caldwell class notebook
Dr. Matthew Caldwell was, of Umpqua, Oregon, graduated from the Ohio Medical College in 1848. After graduation, he worked as a doctor for steamship lines on the China run from San Francisco and later moved to a practice in Phoenix, OR until retirement due to ill health.
Charles Conrad Carter papers
Dr. Charles Conrad Carter was a 1948 graduate of University of Oregon Medical School (UOMS) and long-time faculty member of the Neurology Department. He has collected a variety of materials, mostly relating to student days and collected at class reunions in 1988 and 1998.
George E. Chamberlain papers
George Chamberlain graduated University of Oregon (1936) and University of Oregon Medical School (1938) and became an otolaryngologist. The collection consists of a paper on diagnosis and treatment of Otosclerosis, including pictures of instruments used in the operation and negatives of the operation itself.
