Biographical Note
Education: B.S., UCLA (1966); PNP-C, UCLA Extension (1971); M.N.,UOHSC (1978); PhD., U Oregon (1989).
Employment: Orthopedic Hospital, L.A. (1967-72); Instructor ,SON, UOHSC (1973-78); Asst. Professor, SON Family Nursing (1979-83); Asst. Prof,. & Faculty Clinician, OHSU (1984-85); Assoc. Prof., OHSU (1987-94); Professor, OHSU (1994-2004); Prof. Emeritus (2004).
Trained as a Nurse Practitioner she has spent years in teaching and organizing curriculum for Nurse Practitioners in the state.Winner of many awards (eg, Oregon PNP for Year 1987), is currently (2013) still writing and working on coordinating recruitment of APN faculty for the SON.
