Abstract Clarice Ashworth Francone studied at the Art Insitutute of Chicago and later studied medical illustration under Max Broedel at Johns Hopkins University. Ashworth moved to Oregon in 1929 and worked as a freelance illustrator. Abstract

The Erickson Family collection houses the personal papers of three generations of health science professionals (two doctors and a dentist), Charles A. Erickson, Russell Erickson, Jr., and Russell Erickson, III. This collection which dates from 1906 to 1994, consists of student notebooks, doctor’s notes, journals, photographs, drawings and sketches, school ephemera, news clippings, a painting, and various medical artifacts contained within a doctor’s bag.

Abstract

Wilmot C. Foster, born June 21, 1893 in Sheridan, Oregon, was an alumni of University of Oregon and University of Oregon Medical School (UOMS). He obtained his license to practice medicine in Oregon in 1920 and later went on to become the head of the UOMS Anatomy department. This collection consists of lantern slides used for teaching during his tenure at UOMS.
