The Tacoma College of Dental Surgery moved to Portland in 1899 and, through many years of growth and changed, eventually became today's OHSU School of Dentistry. The collection consists of information, reunion programs, and memorbilia of the students, faculty, and staff; images of various locations on and off campus; equipment; and other assorted material collected by the Alumni Association.

Strategic Communications at OHSU manages the media produced by and about the university, including major news stories and events. The collection was transferred from the various iterations of this department and consists of assorted publications created by and about OHSU. Materials span 1971-2011, and include newsletters, brochures, reports, lecture materials, press releases, school program catalogs and handbooks, and correspondence.
Wilbur Nelson Van Zile papers
Wilbur Nelson Van Zile is known for his improvements and accomplishments in maxillofacial surgery. He served with the Navy Dental Corps during World War II, as Chief of Dental Services and Oral Surgeon at various Naval Hospitals, and as Professor and Chairman in the Department of Oral Surgery at the University of Oregon Dental School. This collection consists of records in various formats that identify Wilbur Van Zile and document examples of his various achievements and roles.
