Walden I. Ferrier collection
The Walden I. Ferrier collection holds personal and academic materials of dentist of the same name. The collection dates from 1901 to 1962, and primarily displays the formative impact that Dr. Ferrier had on dentistry in the early twentieth century, also revealing some aspects of his personal ambitions and values.
School of Dentistry image collection
The Tacoma College of Dental Surgery moved to Portland in 1899 and, through many years of growth and change, eventually became today's OHSU School of Dentistry. The collection consists of images of the students, faculty, and staff; various locations on and off campus; equipment; and other assorted materials.
Wilbur Nelson Van Zile papers
Wilbur Nelson Van Zile is known for his improvements and accomplishments in maxillofacial surgery. He served with the Navy Dental Corps during World War II, as Chief of Dental Services and Oral Surgeon at various Naval Hospitals, and as Professor and Chairman in the Department of Oral Surgery at the University of Oregon Dental School. This collection consists of records in various formats that identify Wilbur Van Zile and document examples of his various achievements and roles.
