The family of M. Lowell Edwards (1898-1982) and his son Miles J. Edwards (1929-2006) have donated a variety of materials pertaining to their careers and longstanding ties with the Medical School. Lowell Edwards was internationally famous for his part in the invention of the Starr-Edwards Heart Valve.
