Bertha Hallam bookplate collection
Scope and Contents
This is a collection of paper bookplates. They are a wide-ranging set of items. Some are from faculty and students of the UOMS, but many are not. A large collection from W.B. Saunders showing the history of medicine through the ages is available; as are those from medical schools around the country, from our own institution of UO Medical School, and a variety of personal book plates.

Abstract
A collection of bookplates from a wide variety of sources collected over the years by Bertha Hallam, UOMS librarian.
Arrangement
The collection is held in packets, organized in the following manner: Cover correspondence and advertising; University of Oregon Medical School; Institutional Book plates from other schools and organizations; Personalized book plates; and a corporate collection from the W.B. Saunders Co. showing a great variety of scenes from medical history. Available dates range 1936-1965.
