Carl Julius Hoffmann lantern slide collection
Carl Julius Hoffmann, M.D., graduated from the University of Oregon Medical School with the class of 1907 and served as the town doctor temporarily for LaCenter, Washington and permanently for Woodland, Washington for 62 years. The collection consists of 12 glass lantern slides of bone fractures originally created by Hoffmann.

The Carl Julius Hoffmann Scrapbook is a leather bound memorial book prepared by the community of Woodland, dedicated to Carl J. Hoffmann, M.D. for his 40 years of medical service.
Hokkaido University School of Dentistry "Sister School" collection
Louis Terkla, D.D.S., initiated the sister school connection between OHSU and Hokkaido University's schools of dentistry in 1973 to give students the option to travel to each city to develop their dental education.
