Abstract
Dr. H. Leslie Frewing served as a surgeon with the 46th General Hospital during World War II. After the war ended, Frewing settled with his family in Vancouver, Washington, and became one of the four founders of The Vancouver Clinic before continuing medical work abroad. Abstract
Naida F. Hoffman Hurlburt served in the Nurse Army Corps during World War II in the 46th General Hospital. She was stationed in North Africa and Southern France and eanred the rank of 1st Lieutenant in 1945. This collection consists of items collected during her time abroad, as well as memorabilia, photographs and ephemera.

Abstract
Dorothy Robinson Mann graduated from University of Oregon Medical School Department of Nursing in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps until 1945. This collection contains photographs taken during Mann’s service which provide insight into the life and training of a nurse at that time, as well as a selection of Army records and additional papers.
