Abstract Lumber baron Frank Silas Doernbecher left a sizeable allotment from his estate for what ultimately became the Doernbecher Memorial Hospital for Children. This collection consists of 6 scrapbooks with pasted news clippings. It spans the years 1922-1958, covering a variety of subject matter related to medical practice and education in Oregon, including articles on activities at the University of Oregon Medical School and Multnomah County Hospital. There is no known information about who compiled the scrapbooks.
