Irene and Hugh Currin papers
Irene and Hugh Currin served abroad together as nurse and doctor, respectively, with the 46th General Hospital from Portland during World War II in both North Africa and France. This collection contains military documentation, photographs, postcards, memoirs and obituary, diaries, World War II era ephemera from their tours, newspaper clippings, and letters detailing their story.

The collection consist of photographs of the University of Oregon Medical School taken by Charles F. Norris. He is considered to be the first full-time photographer for UOMS.

The Oregon State Tuberculosis Hospital began admitting patients in 1910. This album, which dates from 1926 to 1929, contains photographs that depict patients, staff, and the buildings and grounds of the hospital.
Portland Sanitarium and Hospital photograph album
The Portland Sanitarium and Hospital was a Seventh Day Adventist institution. It was modeled after the Adventist flagship Sanitarium in Battle Creek, Michigan. It also created one of the first nursing training schools in Portland. This photograph album provides a slice-of-life look at the nursing school during World War II through the lens of a Canadian nursing student.
