Biographical Note
Charles F. Norris was the University of Oregon Medical School's first full-time photographer. In 1940, Charlie married the former Thelma Lehman, secretary to Elnora Thompson. At the age of 51, Charlie retired from UOMS to focus on a limited retail nursery business the Norrises had had for a number of years in Portland.
