Dorothy A. Robinson Mann papers

Abstract

Dorothy Robinson Mann graduated from University of Oregon Medical School Department of Nursing in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps until 1945. This collection contains photographs taken during Mann’s service which provide insight into the life and training of a nurse at that time, as well as a selection of Army records and additional papers.

Robert Earley Marsh was a student of the North Pacific Dental College and practiced with the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Veteran’s Administration. These papers include several photographs, pencil sketches, several of Marsh’s diplomas and degrees, and a biography of Dr. Marsh, written by his son. These records provide insight into the life of a Great Depression era working professional.
