Biographical/Historical

Dr. Robert Herbert Miles (1902-1990) took his M.D. from UOMS (1929) and practiced in the San Francisco area most of his life. He died in Oakland, California October 29, 1990.

Abstract

Dr. Robert Herbert Miles (1902-1990) attained his M.D. from the University of oregon Medical School in 1929. He practiced in the San Francisco area for most of his life. Thgis collection contains his class notes from the 1920s and some photographs of Miles later in life.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Diana Miles Foster, Dr. Miles' daughter donated the materials to Linda Weimer of OHSU Archives in 1998. They were accessioned by Archivist Karen Peterson in 2004.
