The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) was founded at the 1970 Annual Session of the American Dental Association, created to mobilize and support dental students across the country. The ASDA Chapter Records consist of three scrapbooks from the school years 2000/2001, 2001/2002, and 2002/2003, created by the OHSU chapter of the organization, including brochures, newsletters, correspondence, photographs, and promotional advertisements from dental vendors.

The Tacoma College of Dental Surgery moved to Portland in 1899 and, through many years of growth and change, eventually became today's OHSU School of Dentistry. The collection consists of images of the students, faculty, and staff; various locations on and off campus; equipment; and other assorted materials.

This collection, spanning from 1937 to 2024, traces the history of Oregon Health & Science University through its publications, newsletters, brochures, reports, press releases and media coverage, school program catalogs and handbooks, commencement programs, correspondence, and more.
