The papers of Henry D. Barker, M.D. (1916-96) provide a variety of materials which emphasize two diiferent facets of his career. A vast array of technical data is available concerning his wartime service in the Army Medical Corps in Panama. The papers relating his postwar career are primarily concerned with his paricipation in the group Physicians for Social Responsibility.

The Brunkow collection contains a wealth of material including not only his class notes from his pre-med classes at Reed College, but also his courses at the University of Oregon Medical School. They are accompanied by much of his private practice case files.

Dr. Matthew Caldwell was, of Umpqua, Oregon, graduated from the Ohio Medical College in 1848. After graduation, he worked as a doctor for steamship lines on the China run from San Francisco and later moved to a practice in Phoenix, OR until retirement due to ill health.

George Horace Coshow was a 1930 graduate of the University of Oregon Medical School. This collection contains class notebooks from 1926 to 1928.

Irvin I. Davis' class notes from UOMS in the 1930's have been added to the Archival collection.

A collection of lecture and class notes by Charles E. Dukenfield show how medical education was received by students at the University of Buffalo Medical Department in the latter 19th century.

The Erickson Family collection houses the personal papers of three generations of health science professionals (two doctors and a dentist), Charles A. Erickson, Russell Erickson, Jr., and Russell Erickson, III. This collection which dates from 1906 to 1994, consists of student notebooks, doctor’s notes, journals, photographs, drawings and sketches, school ephemera, news clippings, a painting, and various medical artifacts contained within a doctor’s bag.

Dr. Curtis Holcomb donated his medical school class notes from 1886-1887 taken while a student at Willamette University's Medical Department (WUMD).

Class notebooks of Dr. Orla B. Miles, M.D., from the Willamette University Medical Department for the years 1903 to 1905.

Dr. Robert Herbert Miles (1902-1990) attained his M.D. from the University of oregon Medical School in 1929. He practiced in the San Francisco area for most of his life. Thgis collection contains his class notes from the 1920s and some photographs of Miles later in life.
