Irvin I. Davis anatomy lecture notes
Scope and Contents
One thin document box of material. Inside are two gray-green bound, lined notebooks. They are derived from textbooks rather than in-class notes. One is for Fall term 1931 and one for Spring 1932. There are some typewritten notes,or copied from a textbook; however the bulk is handwritten and liberally sprinkled with hand-drawn and colored illustrations.

Biographical Note
Irvin Isadore Davis was originally from New York. He was a graduate of Reed College in Portland, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1932. In 1935, he graduated from the University of Oregon Medical School, also in Portland. Dr. Davis served as an intern at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He died on April 6, 1936, in Portland, of a carcinoma of the pancreas less than a year after graduating from medical school.
