Student Activities Building records
The Student Activities Building was designed for use by students of each school at the University of Oregon Medical School. The building opened on October 4, 1960. The materials in this collection consist of correspondence, brochures, and blueprints pertaining to the structure.
Student Public Health Surveys collection
This collection is composed of public health surveys of towns primarily located in the Pacific Northwest conducted between 1930 and 1932 and includes information on topics such as diseases, foodstuffs, and water supply. As of 2017, all surveys from the state of Oregon have been digitized and are available online, with data transcriptions available, through the LSTA-funded "Public Health in Oregon" project of OHSU.
David E. Sullivan papers
The collection was donated by David E. Sullivan, M.D., to the Oregon State Medical Association after service in the Naval Medical Corps during WWII.
George W. Tamiesie notebooks
This collection consists of three notebooks used in study at the University of Oregon Medical School by George W. Tamiesie, an M.D. who worked at St. Vincent's Hospital.
Peter Taubenberger papers
Peter Taubenberger, M.D., was a German-born doctor who practiced in both Canada and the United States. Trained as an internist, he became an Aviation Medical Examiner prior to retiring to Portland. His papers were donated to OHSU in 2011.
Thornton Pharmacy prescription collection
The prescriptions of the A.L. Thornton Pharmacy of Lakeview, Oregon have been added to the Archives. These prescriptions of local physicians and dentists date back to the end of WWI.
Evart A. Tinker 46th General Hospital scrapbooks
Evart A. Tinker was a Technical Sergeant with the 46th Base Hospital in Besancon, France. His collection is comprised of photographs he took and arranged in handmade cardboard scrapbooks. Materials cover France, North Africa, and Switzerland as well as images of prisoners and soldiers.
Arnold Towe reprint collection
The Arnold Towe Reprint Collection consists of assorted publications from the 1950s-1990s related to biology, animal behavior, the brain, and the somatosensory system used by Washington-based neuroscientist Arnold Towe during his research.
Donald D. Trunkey papers
Donald Dean Trunkey, M.D., Professor Emeritus and former Chairman of the Department of Surgery at OHSU, has been described as the "The Father of Organized Trauma Care." His vast experience has ranged from military combat trauma, civilian disaster management, and trauma systems organization, to medical education, history, and space medicine. This collection provides a variety of materials covering his multifaceted career.
