Multnomah County Hospital records
The Multnomah County Hospital was built to serve the county’s poorest patients, and also to provide practical experience for physicians in training – residents, interns, and students from the nearby University of Oregon Medical School. This collection contains patient records, administrative records, and intern class photographs.

Harold B. Myers came to Portland in 1915 to take over the Pharmacology department at the University of Oregon Medical School. The materials in this collection primarily consist of Myers' work with Xanthines and his tests on rabbits regarding pharmacological toxicity. Experimental research data and manuscripts make up the majority of the collection.

Richard E. Nichol papers
Dr. Richard E. Nichol attended the University of Oregon Dental School, graduating in 1955. He went on to serve in Korea and later opened a private practice in Portland, Oregon. This collection, which dates from 1947 to 1949, consists of class notes and drawings from his education at the University of Oregon Dental School.
